While on my expedition I found a log covered with coins that were inserted in the gaps of the log. I took a photo of what I saw and later on tried to find out the reason behind what I saw. 

It turns out that these logs/trees are called the Wishing tree; people insert coins in and make a wish; similar to a wishing well where people threw coins in the well hoping that it would make their wishes come true.
